Marina Stamati is a PhD candidate in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, University of the Aegean. She graduated with honors both from the above Department and as well from the post-graduate program Research for Local Department and Social Cohesion of the Department of Sociology, University of the Aegean. Her research interests are related to qualitative social research with particular emphasis on issues of social bonds, family relationships and visual anthropology. Her articles, research papers and contributions have been published in Greek and international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
