Leonidas Liambeys

Leonidas Liambeys has over 13 years’ experience working in leading production companies on non-fiction projects before setting up Long Run Productions in 2020. He was Head of Content at Green Olive Films between 2016 and 2020. His co-production with Boulis Films, The Secret of the Owl, won the ERT Award for the Best Greek Pitch at the 2021 Thessaloniki Doc Festival Agora. The documentary, a musical portrait of Athens through the eyes of its taxi drivers was chosen to take part in the 2021 MFI Doc Lab script workshop with a scholarship from EKOME.
In 2014, he received the FOCAL International Award for Best use of Archive Footage in a History Production for Silent Balkans. 2005 selected to represent Greece at the Youth Bienalle (for contemporary art) at Naples.
