Dimitris Papadopoulos

Dimitris Papadopoulos lives and works in Thessaloniki. In his undergraduate and postgraduate studies he dealt with Pedagogy, Social Exclusion, Film Education and Media Education / Literacy. He holds a PhD from the School of Film of the Aristotle University. He has scientific publications and articles. His first book (as a member of a writing team) is "The New Curricula and Teachers". He teaches Film Education issues at the School of Film of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as issues of the relationship between Culture, Art and Pedagogy and Cultural Mediation at the Department of Creative Media and Industries of the University of Thessaly. He has co-organised numerous Film Education workshops for students and teachers. He has directed three feature-length documentaries with participation in festivals in Greece and abroad.
